Cape town first began as a place filled with optimism directed towards ships seeking land or sources that could help them on their journeys to other land and was well known for its great minerals and soil. However, going against its benefits Africa has recently been seen as the second most populated area and with food scarcity and has been searching for different ways they can manage food shortage among the population. Lisa king is a famous model from cape town and is well known for her active role in society as a model and seen as the most prominent version of a celebrity from cape town and an active model for society.She is well known for her awards and leads in magazines such as runner up for miss south Africa and miss teen awards when she was younger. However, most people may see her in a very famous role in a movie that many people in society have seen and its very interesting to me that she played a small role in home alone 4 as queen.  Cape Town has many eventful celebrations. cape town is most known for the way they gather together for celebrations and the events they manage to fit in and provide for the community and tourist, many of these events are very huge and colorful with huge bands and loud music. Most prominently they are known for their international jazz festival, Africa music festival and the arts alive festival which all promote the art and intense festivity that occurs in cape town and their community. The history of cape town in south Africa itself has some really cool deep-rooted history in its country that many people aren't aware of and so in my blog i will be exploring unknown history and events that are current in order to emphasize the ways it has changed and developed over time and go over the history involved in the development  of its land over time. The history of cape town itself begins by being founded around 1650 and they originally set off an embarkment to cape town by Jan van Riebeek as a venture for new land for ships to set for supplies that they had there.
