Cape Town has many eventful celebrations.
cape town is most known for the way they gather together for celebrations and the events they manage to fit in and provide for the community and tourist, many of these events are very huge and colorful with huge bands and loud music. Most prominently they are known for their international jazz festival, Africa music festival and the arts alive festival which all promote the art and intense festivity that occurs in cape town and their community. As someone can tell cape town is very invested in their music and the way they portray their identity as a country that has such festivals.

Honestly by searching through their involvement in society it provides us with a much bigger emphasis on the background of why music and culture is such a huge factor when describing the place of cape town because they really try and involve original culture as much as possible and don't deny anyone the right to truly have fun.
Why are these events so important to Cape Town?
music itself and art is seen as a form of expression anywhere and i find that they directly use it as a way to embrace their culture and identity as people living in south Africa and find multiple ways to show off how important this aspect is to them. IN addition to music being a form of expression they built their society on the cape of the Malays which is well known for the way they greet people and welcomers with their famous traditional Malay's music that is used in many performances. The Malay's identified themselves as the most musically inclined and motivated culture with pride so its only successful they use it daily in their culture.
